What do volunteers do?
Volunteering at the sale is FUN and a great way to meet new people! There are a lot of time slots available during the sale week. I greatly appreciate all those who offer their time…thank you in advance!
We need help with all kinds of tasks: from set up and tear down, putting items out, helping customers during the sale, and sorting when the sale is over. There are morning, afternoon and evening shifts available from Wednesday – Sunday to work with your busy schedule.
You shop first!
All volunteers will receive a pre-sale pass for the earliest shop time. This is our way of saying thank you!
Shifts are available on a first come, first serve basis. You must sign up for at least one volunteer slot to earn a volunteer pre-sale pass. A volunteer pass entitles one person admittance to the pre-sale. If you volunteer for 2 shifts you do receive 2 passes, and so on. You may bring children to the pre-sale but they must remain with you at all times. You MUST have a pass for entrance.
- NO consignor fee—keep that $8! (Consignors who also Volunteer and bring a minimum of $50 worth of consigned items to the sale will have their consignor fee waived!)
- Be the FIRST to shop the presale!
Volunteers who are also consignors may NOT schedule their consignor drop off appointments DURING their volunteer shift. Your 2 hour shift needs to be completed in order to get your pre-sale pass. You are welcome to drop off either before or after though.
